how do i download pictures from my computer on to the for sale forum

Please can some one help, i have tried and tried to down load a picture from my computer so that i can show it for sale in the for sale forum , yes i know that i am thick and have read how to resize and shape but i do not know how to start the process (when i click on insert image it tells me to put in the URL URRR ! i have looked for help but do not know how to start the process of putting a picture in place for my advert.
I know you will give me some stick but i need to ask

Pop a copy of your picture on your Desktop.

Open browser (hopefully Firefox) goto image shack. http://imageshack.us/

You do not need an account.

Now locate resize image, make it nice 800-600 min

Click browse box or button, locate the desktop or go up in folders till you locate desktop. Click file > click upload, when finished copy the text in one of the lower 'for forums' options.

Dont close image page until you have tested the upload link by posting on a thread. Delete copy'd file off desktop & shave man you look rough.

Have you tried UP-loading? That usually works fine

I did bother to read and still couldnt work out as yet how its done and i watched the video,so i am trying and not a wizard on a computer as i have never really used one for much before , but a will learn.
