How do I remove telelever bolt cover?

Any suggestions how to remove this little blighter so I can remove my telelever?

(I have a copy of the workshop manual, but it does offer any advice).

One side RHS sitting on bike, has a circlip the LHS, that side unscrews with a 12mm Allen socket or should do... I just opened mine up to check

its just an alloy disc with an allen key centre the outer edge is threaded the real bolt is behind it

drill a row of holes and gently break it up

Stick a rag or something in that inlet port Before you start

The Right side has a circlip and plastic cover/bush which lift out with pliers

Well someone has chewed that up. This is just a cover for the LH end of the spindle - it's screwed in using a large (can't remember the size) allen key and shouldn't be very tight. The other side's cover is held in place by a large circlip - you need to get both sides off to remove the spindle...

Thanks guys, I have removed the circlip as per the workshop manual.

The Allen socket was thick with corrosion and the head was split, hence the break.

StArt drilling and go slow I guess.

Finally. Got that blighter out, now I can crack on with painting the front end.
