How do I remove the panniers mounting lug?

The cheap Black plastic thing in the photo. Thought I would get some acf50 grease applied before corrosion rears its head.
 
Thanks, I felt resistance and thought I better stop as I normally break things like this :)
 
The earlier up to 2014 have push on plastic ends. the later ones have a torx screw in the tip,
if you dont see a screw it may be best to leave it as they can work loose and go missing,

My 16my is a push fit and the ones I retro fitted to my 14my GSA were the screw type

If you can't see a screw in the end Phil then just pull the bugger off with your hand :thumby:

PS I've never seen a corroded hanger on an LC GS :comfort

Many thanks, did it today, no screws and just pull off. I put some acf grease behind it anyway, but proberbly a waste of time as you say. In fact, they will probably slip off and disappear down the road now :D
