Traveling the west coast of Morocco, is it tarmac all the way to Mauritania?

Its tarmac all the way save for a couple of miles at the Mauritainia border where it is sandy.Don,t stray off the track here as there are landmines.Once thru the Mauritania border control and back onto tarmac its a tarmac road all the way to Rosso in Senegal unless you decide to cross at Diama where you would take the piste for about 60 miles.
