EXCEPT....
I cant even look at it without it backfiring! Daren't blip the throttle on down shifts anymore. Gentle roll off the throttle at speed and it's threeee... tooooo..... wonnnnn... (clench buttocks)... BANG!!
It's funny when you want to do it, but I just know it's gonna go BANG at the Estonian border crossing this June and there'll be guards diving for cover with guns drawn!!
(There's no leaks and Mr BM fitted them for me) - any thoughts??

my 850 has a catBob Southgate said:If memory serves me correct, the 1100 didn't come with a cat fitted. They only started to fit them as standard in the UK when the 1150 was introduced.

Can't find the bleedin link now.
well ive been given a free cat and ive operated on it by opening up the seem around the rear and made a cut about 2/3 towards the rear across the top ive managed with the ade off a gas axe to remove said gubbins so all there is in the collector box is two pipes merging into one from the front like a two into one exhaust which ends about half way back in the collector and the out pipe out so when i get it welded back up i'll let you know the out come ...but it took about 1 hour to get to this stage but far cheeper than a y piece and it will still look like it has a cat...
