I have now idea how much should I discount my BMW topcase in order to sell it at a fair price...

This is one of those "how long's a piece of string" questions!

There are so many variables.

Have a look through the For Sale threads and see what is being asked for something in a similar condition, then adjust the price according to the age and condition of what you are selling.

The strange thing is that the more expensive the item was when new, the less you are likely to get for it, percentage wise!

The best BMW discount on accessories is about 20%. You need to take that into consideration when selling second-hand BMW stuff if you want someone to buy used bits.

Use the laws of supply and demand........

set a price you're happy with, if it sells, it was a fair price, if it doesn't, re-evaluate your price and try again, etc etc... when the balance of price is met with demand, the product will sell....

if it sells, the purchaser is happy with the price, and so too is the seller....

that = a fair price....
