How to deal with roadwork closures?

My one gripe with MyRoute is that if a road is closed for roadworks MyRoute wont allow you to use that bit of road in a route. A right PIA if you are planning a route for future use.

Here is an example, where I have created a route along the Hackney Road, London E2, which is most definitely closed at the moment, as Google confirms:



Here is the route, without it being forced along by using the ‘skip’ function:

Note: For obvious reasons, I had to use several shaping points (2,3,4 and 5) to force the route along.
