How to get lost in Morocco?

Planning a trip to Morocco for May next year and want to get lost in the wilds for a few days. There is a small group of us going and we have sat phones so will be able to get ourselves our of trouble

Last year i did Taouz to Zagora which was 160ish miles, with some challenging parts (sand). Did it in 9 hours.

This year i would like a bigger challenge, but without too much sand. I'm looking for great scenery, river crossing, mountains and plains, etc, etc. No ashfelt though

Any ideas on a good adventurous route?

Morrocco's no good.

What you want to do is head down to Nouakchott, wait till it gets dark and then strike off into the desert. Make sure you tell lots of folk where you are going though in case you get into trouble. Make sure they know you have lots of money - so they respect you.
