Hi

I have the vario topbox and the factory fitted back rest - my wife doesn't find it too comfortable to lean against - anyone any suggestions how to modify/replace the back rest?

Thanks

David

Make them as uncomfortable as possible. All they do is wear out the back tyre, reduce miles per gallon , reduce seat space and then complain like sh** that you speed, brake too heavily, lean too far in corners, don't stop when they need a pee (I'm NOT a FECKING clairvoiant), you passed a better cafe a few miles back...........

Unless of course the young lady is a size 8, enjoys every twist and turn, screams more, more!!! and is prepared to get on the bike as well:augie

if you wanted to carry pillions you should get a wing

Nooooo--------- i found that with the box set in large mode the old witch stopped complaining and with a airhawk seat cushion and touratech pedal extenders she complained less said it was much better much better

but do not remove a remus exhaust baffle complained that i had made her deaf , wished i had been ,,,,,the language and she wonders why i dont have an inter-comm

How lucky am I

Replace your topbox with one of an RT. My SWMBO loves it, prefers the GS now over an LT..

Might be worth sticking with it for a bit? My Mrs hated the back rest at first, but reckons it 'breaks in' with time...
HTH!
Dave.

A friends wife sewed a piece of medium density foam rubber into the back of her jacket and it works a treat.

My wifey had the same problem espcially on long ride, so I bought this from www.bakupusa.com and we've never had an issue since.

Maybe there is a dealer in the UK :nenau

I'm quite interested in one of these but there's no price on the website. Could you give me some indication as to how much yours was please? :thumb2
