Remove BMW Top Box?

I know it has something to do with the handle at the bottom of the box but what?
Is there another catch or something or screws that need to be taken out?

The handle will not budge and I don't want to force it in case it breaks.

Please help!!!!!

It's a long time since I had a BM top box (I have a Givi now) but from memory you have to pull the (metal?) release handle pretty hard to get it to release. Not much to go on - sorry - someone else may be more help.

Unlock and raise the handle which locks the lid, underneath there is a bar which you twist to the left and then pull the lower handle which locks the case to the rack....think I got that right.....
