How/what/where.....??

I'm a very recent RGS convert have traded in (up/down??) my elderly K100RS last weekend.

I have loads of questions and I'm hoping the forum can advise me? And apologies if i'm lumping different topics into my one thread (I am a newbie after all!!).

Can anyone recommend a weatherproof bike cover that will fit the RGS loaded up with Vario panniers and top box?

Is there a "workshop" manual for the 2008 R1200GS?

Are the Vario cases waterproof??

More questions to follow once I've gotten a few more miles under my belt!

Yes, couple of options BMW manual commonly called the RePROM cd, you can get them from torrents, e-bay or your dealer (in ascending price order). There's also Haynes or Clymer.

Are the Vario cases waterproof??

I had vario's for a couple of years and only once had a tiny amount of water in, mind you it was about the worst weather i'd rode in for a couple of decades.

When I go to my caravan on my GSA I use a patio table cover I got from Aldi a while back.

Its size large and suitable for a table with 6 chairs.

Got a drawstring at the bottom. I throw it over and pull the string tight. Works a treat but I probabaly wouldn't use it as a permanent solution.
