HP2e Brake light stays on

Help, my brake light stays on, I unplugged both front and rear brake light switches and it still stays on. I unplugged the spade connector on the light bulb socket for the brake lite filament and it goes out. So, have I eliminated the switches and the socket, if so, this means wiring or electronic control unit, correct? Any other ideas welcome. Thanks Mike

So I don't know everything

After wasting all afternoon, a phone call to Bob a BMW Tech at my dealer fixed the problem. The switches work just the reverse of what you would expect, they open to light the brake light. My front switch was out of adjustment. By unplugging them I was in effect applying the brakes.

Yep switch is NO (normally on ) very easy to ajust, check my old post on this.
