For anyone with a Pyramid hugger on their 1150.
I have just had my tyres changed and the tyre fitter was very concerned about having to remove the Pyramid hugger
that mounts on to the rear brake caliper. He stated that the M5 bolts that fit in to the hex bolt are nearly always seized and there is a high risk of them breaking.
Good job I replaced said bolts yesterday! They did come off ok as I'd coated them in copper slip however they were still tight.
I have now removed the hugger (didn't do much anyway) so that I don't encounter problems in the future with changing brake pads and tyres.
You may want to check your bolts aren't seized.
