Namibia 1996 - ROASTING
If you want hot,, went to Namibia geological mapping in the "badlands",.. Doros crater and the Huab.. amazing part of the world.. but blooming hot. I bought a camel back for walking around with..
It rocked, well worth the cash. The bladder sadly died due to abuse back in the uk, but if you riding a long way.. why not. They are not too costly, lots of reps of camel backs and its not like the weight will make any difference.. then you have the choice..
I have seen severe sun stroke,, never had it myself. i was born in Rhodesia (now zimbabwe), so fairly clued up on sun stroke.
It catches you quick and you can convince your self your not suffering.
ALSO!.. one thing people forget.. when you put your helmet on, you naturally change your breathing pattern. This can sometimes cause you to breath faster, or hold your breath,, depending on the person, and with this, you change the amount of water you expell in your breath..
When i ride around north wales, i am normally tired at the end of the day, and few glasses of water and i start to feel better..
