Sump plate mounting screws.
And there's at least one good thread here with pics and instructions on how to fix![]()

So my question is this. The sump guard fits on rubber shock absorbers. When refitting the sump (after replacing headers etc) the rubber tries to twist when bolting the guard back in place. In my case the twist was enough to tear the rubber slightly and no-doubt today the problem was terminal.
I shall look for the threads as Bill says, however what is the correct procedure for replacing the bolts in order that the rubber does not twist?

I had tried the spanner but they kept twisting (probably worn). At the moment I've got rubber on the bottom which has sheared off but there is no bolt/metal in the middle (it's rubber all across). Am I right in saying the bolt that goes into the sump attaches somehow to the top of the rubber?
I'm fitting an aftermarket sump guard this week, don't want it happening again.
