Sorry, didn't clock your location, for you it's more of a necessary upgrade. I doubt if I'll be in Ireland, Spain, Portugal or Poland this year so, for me, I'll be akin to buying a new street atlas but for £40. Will put the DVD in a drawer until I feel the need, might feel more inclined when v10 comes along or I get the opportunity for a big trip.
So those GPSW bargain 2610 users who've just got 2GB CF cards to go with their new Garmins won't be able to fit all of Europe on after all. Not a great hardship unless you propose something of a grand tour I suppose.
Can anyone help me by lending me a copy of V9, I'm eligable for the free upgrade and Garmin have said they'll send me the disc but haven't received it yet and off to Spain soon. As soon as I get a copy I can get the unlock code just running out of time I think it may have been lost in the post as I'm out in Germany.
Sorry the copies would have been free if i could have made them but the disc was too big at 6.4 gig for a standard DVD and the dual layer DVD's Needed are too expensive locallly £17 for 5 and i didn't have any... you'll just have to wait for the Garmin postie
I had CNv9NT some time ago, but my regular CNv9 only arrived this morning.
Had a few games trying to get the Garmin MapSource Purchase Update to take my money - kept getting an error message which the asked me to e-mail to them (think I had the same issue last year).
Anyway, I've got it done and am just loading the new maps for my skiing trip on Saturday!
