Wobbling...

Certainly.. and right now its much wobbling..

Slowspeed control of the GS still to be improved.. filtering is fun!
So used to sleek CBR.. but i have to say, the high up view is top.

As for the servicing, thanks for the warning and i will keep an eye on em.

Glad you like your bike, it's interesting to see guys coming away from manic GSXRs and the like to a bike that will give a grin from ear to ear but in a totally different way.

One of the guys I ride with (mid forties) says he's "not old enough!" for a BMW but I think that the new GS1200 is probably the greatest all round road bike available (don't get me wrong, the 1150 is a great bike too!) and is attracting a lot of younger riders.

I've seen some of the faster GS riders hustle through the curves and with the extra power (and less weight) of the 1200, I reckon that 95% of sportsbike riders are in for one helluva shock.

The right bike

Well yesterday i did 167 miles around north wales.
Went from the Horseshoe Pass at Llangollen to Carnaefon Airfield, in support of the Air Ambulance..

I sadly dont have any webspace right now to post the piccies.. a massive turn out..

Well it i had tried this on the CBR,, one i would likly have got a ticket.. it was also National Enforcement Day,, and the CBR600F just made me want to ride fast.. and my back would have been dead..

As it was, we had a pleasant ride across north wales and it was a bit slow pace, due to escorting a young lad on a 125cc.. but it was only a real problem on steep hills..

For me the GS is great to ride, corners well, nice brakes,, a slight lack of feel on the road,, but that may be me just needing to get used to the "new feel" as it were.

Some people want high power and click/click gear boxes.. i wouldnt mind, but the GS is just different and fun.

You also seem to attract lots of lookers..

My view, though biased is they are a great bike.. though i am not too fussed on the 1200's new looks.. prefer the 1150.. looks meaner!

Anyone know where you get one of those lovely oil cooler covers that say GS on them????
