If you get a bit of 4x2 and some big nails you could knock up a sort of `crossbar/seat` to use when not actually doing trials.

I have a similar bike but haven't managed to get to enough local trials to warrant it really. Still, lost count of the number of times I've nearly disabled myself in the back garden!
