I'm with you here....I head straight here first... It's better than the pub.. The banter is mixed with tech support and great knowledge with out any complications... It's a great part of the forum.
And stupid questions get the piss taken and answered all at the same time without the poster or any other lilly livered twats being offended.

Do you think my belt is alright, did it look ok when you were riding behind on sunday, did you notice anything untoward.
What about the pulleys, DaveG mentioned the pulleys on sunday, i hadn't thought about the pulleys. Do pulleys break, do pulleys stop working. What's with the pulley problems. Have i spelt pulley correctly.
Well, it's funny you should mention – it's just that – you know when you got a way ahead of me? That was actually because when I was closer to your backend (fnurk), your belt looked like it was about to jump off the pulleys and fly off at me so I held back half a mile. Oh and have you got some kind of fancy fully floating pulleys on because they wobble about like fuck! I was going to tell you, but after a little deliberation, I got my camera out instead!
As an aside, maybe at Le Hog we should have a 'drive belt conversation veto'. Otherwise we are going to spend 4 bloody days talking about nothing else and giving it "Well have a look at mine, see what you think, I think loose is better, no I think tight is better, do you think mine is too tight though? I am a little worried!" We will all be gibbering wrecks by the end of it.

I think i've just found the problem. I call it a "belt drive", and i notice you've called it a "drive belt".
That's made me feel sooooo much better. We've been at cross purposes all this time.
