Before the moderator deletes this, I really do need a screw or at least a bolt.

The dealer gave me a very new tank bag for the new 2014 RT WC but the deal is that I need to give him the bolt that came out of the front of the fuel tank because the tank bag bracket bolt has an extra spacer.

This is fine until I want to sell or not use the bag. The photos attached are of the screw before returning it to dealer.

Anybody got one lying around?

Was the bag FOC? Did they take it off another bike that has been sold without it and are too tight to buy another screw? I don't get why you have to give him the bolt.

Also, I'm sure your dealer could sell you one.

Yes, FoC from a very recent trade-in. They claim not to have one to replace. I would be happy to buy one if so.

FFS! that's a lot of a work for a 5p bolt! Trouble is it's a wide shank with a torx head... BMW specific. I'd be tempted to give the dealer a shiny 10p and tell him to order one from a BMW dealership that knows what it's doing, he can keep the change for his efforts!

We had better put the cost up to 15p, I've just realised it's stainless... as I fished around with a magnet in the bottom of the oil drainer!
