I saw a bike trailer locally on a Pan , it was narrow on twin small wheels mounting a THULE car roof box as the luggage carrying capacity.
Quite ingenious and over 150 litres capacity yet in total narrower than the bikes panniers BUT on the continent and over here you become a car and trailer so no outside lane on the motorways/ Autobahns and lower speed limits etc
 
Struggling to understand the one wheel idea.

I can see that once attached to the bike its stable, but as soon as you uncouple it, then isn't it a bit of a pig to move about, with all that weight on the hitch and a desire to fall over all the time?

Wheeling backwards when manouvering it must be entertaining to watch too....
