I took both wheels off and then this happened...

i RIDE mine to the tyre fitters. i remove the front wheel and hand it to the gentleman who is going to change the tyre. i wait for this procedure to be carried out then refit the front wheel.
then i remove the rear wheel and repeat the procedure .then i refit the rear wheel and torque up at the end using a wrench that i have carried with me. easy. why has no one else thought of this. for a small fee i am willing to carry out these procedures for you as long as you ride over to my place..............................

personally, removing both wheels at once seems like a big no no, especially as the gs stands are pretty tempremantal to start with, however if this is your only option (only mode of transport ect) try going to your local dealer and getting a loan bike for a hour while tecnicians do the work for you? :nenau

...Or use yer noggin and either do the wheels one at a time or place a jack or even a few blocks of wood under the engine for support while both wheels are off.......

Without needing dealers, loan bikes or technicians.
