I want a Helix

Hi all,

I am currently seriously considering buying an old Honda Helix Scooter.
I have had Silverwings before and currently have a new SH125 as my daily commuter, however I do fancy a Helix!

Somas I am currently researching them I came across this Advert for the Helix from 1986!

This has to be one of the best Ads I have seen - it had me in stitches with the comments like: "makes destinations irrelevant and status symbols obsolete!"

Anyway, I have already located a couple of potential candidates, so with a bit of luck I own one soon!

Here's a recommendation : a guy called Ed Otto completed the Iron Butt Rally in 1995 on a Helix - around 9000 miles in 11 days. I did see one for sale in a bike shop in Birmingham a few months ago but don't know if it is still there.
