The wind protection was better on the gs for me than the gsa i'm 6 ft but with the bigger screen and winglets you would think the gsa would be better!

At 69 kilos, I'm lighter than your average tosser, and have never had a problem with any of the stock seats on my bikes. I had a couple redone by Tony Archer, to sort the height, but found them worse afterwards. I've said it before, and mean no offence, but are most of the people with seat issues on the heavier end of the spectrum?

Re the screen, I have no problems with the GSA screen on my GS, and I'm 5'10" on both legs.

I imagine it's designed around the average weight and height for men whatever that may be.

Designed for men, ridden too often by girls.

Rode both the tc r1200rt and r1200gs back to back in Austria a couple of years ago, rt fine in autobahn and A roads but horrible on the higher passes in comparison with the gs
