Does anyone have any good ideas or suggestion on Comms for rider to rider. I did buy a set, but they were next to useless, the VOX system would not work over about 30 mph.. After a set that you can hear one another and are not to bulky..
Thanks

Keep your radios and look for a hard wired PTT (press to talk) system, as vox don't work on bikes too much wind noise.

Try www.Mandp.co.uk or Allan uk/Midland radios do a google search.

Got a set from Heine Gerricke, they were about 130-00, they have the push to talk option, so I guess thats the way to go.. Thanks for youe help

If you are using Autocoms to connect the bike to bike radios you can fit a bar mounted push to talk switch.

It's a little pricey (I think they were about £30 each) but have a PTT button and switch to select VOX, PTT or always transmit. I't designed to cable tie to the left grip, next to the thumb, and works much better than VOX (although flicking the switch to always transmit can be useful in traffic.

We originally had some cheap Binatone radios which were really horrible. Changed to Alan 456r which we have found to be perfect and only cost about £50 each.
