For some reason my bike (03 R1150 GS) has taken to running with a very high idle setting. It will start and run when cold at it's normal 1000-1200 RPM idle but I noticed when closing the throttle I wasn't getting a lot of engine braking while I was on the motorway and when I pulled in the clutch it took a while before it settled down to idle at about 2100 RPM. When I got to town 2100 was the lowest it would drop to which was interesting.
The throttle feels fine and is not sticking anywhere (it's hard against the stop when at idle) and it does not feel out of balance.
Only other problem is that the battery's dying (see other thread), would that affect the idle?
Any ideas?

I've had the same problem and by using the cleaner everything runs fine.
