Hi all, can anybody tell me where to find an ignition live on 1150 gs , need to hard wire fog lights and sat nav but want them to turn off and on with ignition key

I usually run a feed for 'live' from an instrument bulb feed (they're located in the big cluster of connectors behind the top yoke), into the relay. Most kits you get include a relay and a switch so you can feed the relay with battery+ (eg from the instrument bulb feed), and have the independant switch for turning the 'thing' on and off.
 
I just use a Hella DIN plug on the sat nav lead to the electric socket on the beak
Used that way for 20 years
Overnight on tours I just unplug the plug from the socket & put sat nav in top box
No battery drain that way

The socket on the beak isn’t standard on an 1150GS so may not be an option.

Using the front parking connection as mentioned above is probably the easiest method. Couple of ‘Y’ cables made with male & female spade connectors only take minutes to put together and fitting takes less than a minute. Relay should fit behind the gray piece over the clocks.
