Ignition sensor

Got the feeling mine might be in its last leg (1150 GS single spark)

Riding along nicely and every so often cuts out and restart straight away or when hot needs a bit of reving to fire back up
Every so often will die ion neutral at light and restart without fuss

Any ideas

If I need to change it do I need the 6 larger pin plug or the one with the small pins

It's a simple job to change it, also check the wiring loom at the base of the ignition switch, they go brittle and can break. Can't help with what plug you need without seeing yours but you're looking at about £95 for a new one from eblag.

It's not entirely conclusive, that your fault is the ignition sensor.

However, provided the wiring of you bike is original and some previous owner has not hacked it, then if you need to buy an ignition sensor, then the one you need is the one with the connector on the left.

Just try disconnecting you lambda probe and see if it he problem goes away .... will take 5 mins .

Sometimes the Hal sensors are fine its the wireing thats brittle and shorting out, i soldered in new wires and all well
