Thanks for all your help and advice since being a GS owner. There is a wealth of knowledge on this forum.
I can also say that in spite of a number of worrying threads warning that this or that will fail at some point in the very near future, nothing did

I enjoyed my GSA very much but today I collected the replacement.........A Diamond black Ducati Diavel

Yes the GS is better long distance, but the Diavel is sooooo much fun

Anyway, thanks again. I'll be putting my Sargeant seats, exhaust and top case on the for sale section soon.

The Diavel is a complete hoot and far better than it has any right to be. But although I really enjoyed riding it and would consider one as well as my GSA if I had to have only one no contest - GSA. You just can't do anything on a Diavel that involves more than a day hooning around in nice weather.

Enjoy it, but don't let it limit your riding to sunny Sundays.

I count myself very lucky to have have both a GSA and a Carbon Black Diavel.

After test riding the Diavel, i wanted one sooooo badly. But i just couldn't part with my GSA. So i part-ex'd my S1000RR instead.

1500 miles on my Diavel now and loving it. I rode it into work this morning (yes i'm working on a Sunny Sunday).

The GSA is the ultimate all-rounder, go anywhere, on any road, in any weather, carrying lots of stuff, in sublime comfort.

The Diavel is almost the total opposite.
Its a power cruiser that rides like a Superbike. It has hard suspension, light handling and MASSIVE power and Torque, and its incredibly exciting to ride. And so very different to any other bike i've ever ridden

Nice to see that the Ducati devides opinion.
What I hate is when people look at a bike and say, "well it's ok i suppose".
Much rather people love it or hate it. Much like the GS I guess.....
