Hi all
I am trying to import some pdf files and save them on my iPad 4 (IOS 8.0.2). The files are on my PC (Dell Laptop with Win7 64Bit) and also on my MS One Drive.
I have tried sending them to myself as an attachment and then opening in GMail on the iPad. I can see the eMail attached files and open them no problem, also with the One Drive - via the iPad.
However, I don't see how to save the files on the iPad. I have tried via iTunes, but can't figure that out either, as presumably I am still in PC Mode.
Is there a 'Save Files As' type option hidden away in a hidden menu somewhere on the iPad? The IOS 8 Manual isn't terribly helpful and I don't see anything in this forum using the Search function.
I don't want to have to down load each time from the cloud, etc. every time I want to read the files.
Thanks for any help.

. I may talk with Apple before I do this though, but I doubt they will be of much help.
