Good afternoon everyone and a Merry Christmas.

In the past while on tour, one of the group would create a route for the next day on their MacBook using Basecamp, transfer it to their Garmin and then bluetooth it from there to each of our devices - a mixture of other Garmin and Navigator VI. Will the Connected Ride Navigator accept routes by Bluetooth in this way?

I don't know but my guess would be no because you can't do it with an XT

The ConnectedRide Navigator should, I believe, accept bespoke routes via the BMW Connected app.

Create the GPX file as normal. Get the file into a phone and from there into the BMW Connected app. From there, into the ConnectedRide Navigator.

I think that should work.

Definitely, it's a no!! The only two options currently are via the ConnectedRide App or by downloading the GPX files directly to the CRN by cable.

Work around it.

Create the route in BaseCamp, as normal.

Export the route via email (or Bluetooth) to the other fellow’s phone. From there, the fellow exports it to the BMW device, via the Connected Ride app, also on his phone.

I guess that works?

Yes, that works as well. Did it yesterday.

Only to or from another CRN, as of the latest software update this week.
