Improved fuel consumption on the new GS???

Can we expect improved fuel consumption on the new 1200 GS? as I'm sure this will be the next engine in the RT it would be interesting to find out if there is any improvement in this area... £1.40 per litre in neck of the woods for unleaded this week... This is a 10p increase in just under 4 weeks FFS!!!:(

Maybe you should wait for the GS TDi or, what about a conversion to LPG????
 
and BMW insist that you use the expensive Super stuff in the WC..

I'll stick with my lovely 09 GSA, running sweet on 98ron at 48mpg.

Runs on 95 Ron at full rated power output and fuel consumption is better too - lovely 13 GS :augie
