hi all
i used the search and found some old threads on indicator problems i was wondering if anyone has an update to the availablity of the indicator microswitch to fit 1150 gs or if anyone has any they want to sell ?? as i need a new one , i have sourced a used one from motorworks but would like a couple of spares farnell sell them at a pricey £40+ for 1 on their website :eek
cheers :beerjug:

The left hand indicator switch died on my bike. I got a new micro switch from Motorworks and my mechanic stripped out the old one & replaced it. Only a few pounds for micro switch and it fits as a direct replacement for the old one.

I got some for my 1200GSA for £4.40 + FAT each from Farnell: here.

Farnell used to do the exact switch but I found them a PITA to try and work with . The heat of the soldering iron just wrecked them
The maplins switches are spot on, really easy to work with and fit right into the plastic moulded switch holder . Just remember to unscrew the nut from the switch and throw it away . DAMHIK . :blast . :beerjug:

+1 on Generic relay

The cheapo Micro Switch (sorry for calling it a relay in the subject line) I used had two eye terminals on it. I have very basic soldering skills but managed to bend the wires into a 'J' and tin them. I hooked them into the eyelets, applied a bit of crimp pressure and put some heat from the iron on them and voila!

In my case it was the front brake relay.
