Indicator time length!

Is there any way to decrease the amount of time the indicators stay on for? I like the idea that they are self cancelling but feel that they stay on too long and just wondered if there was any way of shortening the time, without pressing the cancel button coz im lazy and have short thumbs!!!!!

I believe this is programable by the BMW Dealer.

Really!!!! mine stay flashing 15 times! which is about 15 seconds so when changing from first to middle lane on a motorway they give the impression that you want to go into the fast lane to traffic coming up behind! I just find it a bit too much.

I find they still broadcast TV after I want to go to bed. Most annoying - often keeps me awake...

I contacted them - they said something about turning it off myself. They're obviously stuck in the past...

Programmable as someone already said.

There are a few options time and distance related.

Mine came off far to early, I indicate at 300 yard marks to get off mways, they'd cancel themselves at the 100 yard mark. Most annoying. Been set correctly now via dealer.

While I was there got them to make clock 24hr.

I had mine change so that they continue to indicate to around 500m at 100km/h. They can do it with the computer thing they have in the shop.

And yes funny enough there is an option to cancel them manually... strange....
