Hi guys

Moved from a 1200GS to a 1250GS to a KTM 1290 and now I have a 1200RS which I am enjoying better than the three prior bikes

I have a few questions though

1) a friend loaned me a vfr800 in the interim between the KTM and the RS and I had no numbness in my right hand when using. The RS however makes my hand numb very quickly. Both bikes had risers. Is there a way of reducing the white fingers syndrome? Anyone successfully used bar weights or whatever?

2) the paint has come off the big white back (centre) spring and also the right hand pillion handle. Has anyone else had this and fixed?

3) I have a garmin zumo 390 which came with the bike. It takes centre stage on the bars. I need to charge my phone tho. What do you guys do to charge? The bars are not easy to add a normal phone holder/charger to

Many thanks for your patience. Any info appreciated

I’ve always found BMW grips to be narrow & uncomfortable so I always put Grip Puppies on to fatten them up. Might help with vibration too.

Every time I try to access it tells me it’s under maintenance chief

there seems to be an intermittent problem with new registrations which I thought was fixed as we had some new ones recently

cant say i have any problems with the grips on my r1250 rs 2023 model, the spring is in an awkward place to get full access for cleaning , i always keep it clean and wax it as i do the whole bike i also fitted the mud sling to give much better weather protection on the spring seems to do a good job , the grab rail should be an easy fix would rub it down prep it and just use halfords satin black spray paint .

Re numbness, I'm not convinced that grip puppies are the answer. When I bought my '22, I fitted them and thought they were athe best £10 I had spent. However, I've just removed them and I think I get so much more feedback from the bike, which is good.
