Hello everyone out there in GS Land

New to your world just bought 2000 GS Traded in 1997 RT

Information required

1. Will the screen from a GSA fit straight onto the GS?

HAS ANYONE GOT ONE FOR SALE?

2. Looking to get some protection parts (Light guard cover, Steering stop) including a oil cooler guard seen the Touratech one, but have seen pictures on some of the threads of a guard which look like the front side mesh's with a GS logo on it

Who makes these ones

Can any one recommend any other protection parts? Do not intend to take off road YET!

NOt sure about the ADV screen, I presume it does cos loads of people have made the mod...
As far as the oil cooler screen goes, I got one of these. Very smart it is too...

Adventure Screen

Hi Pilgrim,
The Adv. screen fits fine but you also have to buy the mounting legs for the Adv. - their longer than standard 'cos the Adv. screen's wider and also don't have the adjustment facility of the standard one's 'cos the Adv. screen is non-adjustable.

Migsil does the GS logo oil cooler guard plus he makes a great light bar ( you'll need better lights!) and GPS mounts (it my be Migsel) all avilable from this site. Best of luck a great choise of bike.

I think you`ll find a condom to be rated rather highly as a "worthwhile protection part"....
