Puting a new clutch in, I found this issue on my injector pipes, yes I am heavy handed, I broke the one? But the one next to it shows "pitting" I had high consumption and fuel staining top of the gearbox, so I think it may have been spraying high pressure fuel very finely? Anybody seen it before?

Looking again, the regulator body has wear and a flat spot it was rubbing on the airbox I guess

I reckon it's just you being heavy handed.

You would probably have caught fire if that had been there a while, especially if it's on the high pressure side.
I've got those same stains on my gearbox - from a small spill a few years ago. bloody quickfit o ring.

Probably, should take beer fridge out of the garage:beer:

I'd be replacing those cracked pipes; they'll only fail sooner or later, and of course you don't need OEM parts unless you are concerned about having OEM grommets.

Heat related stress I reckon.
