Overpriced? Using my discount code it ends up being at around €250, that's a killer deal specially compared to other devices.I bought the Ridernav a few days ago and it only took two days to arrive.... first impressions are pretty good, it is a basic device, overpriced like all these devices but it should do what I need and the brightness seems pretty good.
Connections are fiddly because you still need to connect the phone to Cardo.... and limits the connections to the bike to use the Motorrad App and get telemetry data.
so I have them like this.... (but I'd be interested to know if anyone has a better combination)
My phone is an Samsung S25 Ultra
Phone BT to Cardo (default pairing mode)
RiderNav BT to Cardo (GPS Pairing)
Phone BT to RiderNav (this is used for the initial power-on handshake to establish the wifi Android Auto)
But if I then pair my Bike to my Phone as well.... everything gets a bit confused. The RideNav will stay connected until I turn off the bike, then it wont handshake and establish the Android Auto connection. Also the routing of audio can be problematic.
I think I can set some of these setting on my phone but not had time to properly play around with it.
Overall I'd say I am happy with the Ridernav though.
The TFT limitations have nothing to do with any device out there, that's beemers fault for not upgrading that since 2018.
Here's my recommendations in terms of connections:
Cheers!
