Innovv N2 - quality device!

I bought the Ridernav a few days ago and it only took two days to arrive.... first impressions are pretty good, it is a basic device, overpriced like all these devices but it should do what I need and the brightness seems pretty good.

Connections are fiddly because you still need to connect the phone to Cardo.... and limits the connections to the bike to use the Motorrad App and get telemetry data.

so I have them like this.... (but I'd be interested to know if anyone has a better combination)

My phone is an Samsung S25 Ultra

Phone BT to Cardo (default pairing mode)
RiderNav BT to Cardo (GPS Pairing)
Phone BT to RiderNav (this is used for the initial power-on handshake to establish the wifi Android Auto)

But if I then pair my Bike to my Phone as well.... everything gets a bit confused. The RideNav will stay connected until I turn off the bike, then it wont handshake and establish the Android Auto connection. Also the routing of audio can be problematic.

I think I can set some of these setting on my phone but not had time to properly play around with it.

Overall I'd say I am happy with the Ridernav though.
Overpriced? Using my discount code it ends up being at around €250, that's a killer deal specially compared to other devices.

The TFT limitations have nothing to do with any device out there, that's beemers fault for not upgrading that since 2018.

Here's my recommendations in terms of connections:

Cheers!

No I mean overpriced (as all these devices are) in terms of what it is..... basically a mirroring device, the specs of which are low but sufficient for the job it needs to do.

Thanks for the link to your connections video.... I'll check it out.

I’ve just bought the Innovv N2 display unit for BMW to use on my 12 G/S.. swapped over the Nav V cradle from my GSA which has a Chigee unit on it. N2 unit arrived, clipped it into the nav cradle. Ignition on, unit powered up fine, carplay etc all worked. As soon as I started the bike a message appears advising ‘unit powering off’…. No matter what I do the unit won’t stay on after I’ve started the bike… Logic suggests there is no power to the cradle post starting the bike. However Mr BMW Nav V suggests otherwise and shows its receiving charge????
Any ideas before I send it back??

That's strange, definitely not something I've seen before with other devices.

Other than making sure it's on the latest software version and making sure the contacts are clean, if that doesn't work, reach out to Innovv support and see if they have any suggestions.

Cheers
