this is just a quick question.

I have an xlite helmet which fits me perfectly, I thought I wouldn't have any problems fitting my autocom speakers into it as there is a space around my ears but it seems that there is just not enough room. I can only wear the helmet for about 5 mins before the pain is just too annoying.

So I'm wondering how I can go about fixing this. If I were to cut a bit out of the foam would it compromise the strength of the helmet?

The speakers also have a housing on the rear that can be removed to reduce the depth. Autocom fitted mine, 1st tryout and i nearly couldn't get the lid off, he then removed the housing/backingplate and it was much better but me bloody ears were sore for days. Bout time they started using thinner speakers.
