installing fuzblock?

Search for "switched power - the easy way" which is a sticky on here. Excellent article by Wapping with all the answers you need.

No, No, no. That information was out of date regarding the BMW OEM numbers when it was posted. BMW changed the lead somewhere in 2006, order the one in the thread and you'll end up with a useless connection .
I'm sure the old fellow ment well but, I suggest following the thread and subsequent posts for more reliable info.

No fuses on this bike. It uses virtual cb's in the electronic units. If an over current is detected then the ECU will trip the power, you then have to remove the problem and when the ignition is turned back on the ECU resets the supply protection.

The difficulty is finding the problem!

A good switched live is the external power socket or rear light. Tap into one of those on to a relay which switches a feed into an add-on fuse block from the battery.

Nope you're wrong there old fella

Correct numbers are stated further in the post as I've ordered the part twice now myself

Here's the thread http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php/180148-Switched-power-The-easy-way

You can always check with your local BMW dealer on the code anyway now you know what the part is for

I fitted LED spots and now have one of the spotlight fuses going begging. I can't remember if they are wired before or after the handlebar switch.
