Hi all.
I know there is other threds out there with the same sort of thing, but ive just had an insurance quote from Carrol Nash----------To insure my 1200GS Adventure and my KTM 690 Enduro (FULLY COMP) with Uk and European break down cover for £259.00.
Im 35 years young, Does this sound a pretty good price compared to other quotes people have had???????

Could try Hastings Direct £193 fully comp + protected no claims

As you've not told us the year, spec and value it's hard to comment.
I'm 2 years younger and pay more for just one bike, a 2010 fully spec'd GSA.

Yes it does.....I'm 44, with a two bike policy..a 2010 Gsa and a '03 Pan Euro, and I was recently quoted about £340.

Obviously values of the bikes, policy details (excesses etc), post code areas, will effect everything...but it sounds a reasonable quote.

The only way you'll find out is by ringing around.

The BMW insurance is a good bet....but both bikes have to be BMW bikes.

I rate Carole Nash highly, and would pay a few bob more to stay with them to be honest.

This makes me want to cry...

For the pleasure of living in an SW postcode, my insurance renewal came in £130 more than last year even with an extra year's NCB and depreciation. So now I'm paying £50 extra with the same broker but on an internet quote (£450 Fully comp). Then they phone me 3 days later to sell an add-on product giving me a courtesy bike in the event and guaranteed full value pay-out for an extra £500 on top of my normal premium

..sorry..06 GSA with full luggage set valued at 7k (to lower my premium). The reasoning they gave me was that it was a tough year for the insurance market last year so everyone's premiums have gone up. Would be great if I could use the same logic in my business and bump my daily rate up.

Rip-off Britain. :rob
