Yep emailed David as well, the thing with intaride is there customer service couldn't be better, a genuine couple of guys big
, any problems with low speed vox triggering?
, as soon as I disconnected the power supply to the Quest the interference disappeared and a decent trip out with my son saw no false low speed triggering and the vox was spot on. The MP3 player was plenty loud enough and 3/4 volume was as loud as I could stand it
. So all I have to do is sort out GPS power and alls good. Does anyone know if the QPAC power and audio lead from GPSW is suppressed or not, the bike doesn't have to be running for it to cut out the intercom, just connected to the battery ignition on or off will do it

hmmmm. I've got a GPS lead hooked up, but, currently, my GPS isn't producing voice prompts, so, I haven't been using it. Are you saying the interference comes from the actual 12v power supply, or the lead going into EVO? My GPS is usually powered by the internal 276c battery, but, the lead, which is hooked up, comes from Garmins audio/power cable. I gotta try unhooking that lead, and see if it helps.nedflanders said:Latest is I found the problem to false triggering and interference, but solving it is another matter, as soon as I disconnected the power supply to the Quest the interference disappeared and a decent trip out with my son saw no false low speed triggering and the vox was spot on. , fade in and out was good when speaking and the GPS (running on internal battery) also was clear and good fade in and out. Phone seemed a little quite on bluetooth but that was me monging it not turning up headset volume on the phone itself

thats a clean install! looks great!!nedflanders said:Is it a 3.5mm filtered audio lead? £20 is expensive but if it it solves it then I'd be happy to pay it. I had to install mine in the tool tray as I'm on a low seat and wanted to put it in an enclosure of some sort to make it as neat as possible. The Centech fusebox sits underneath the intercom running of the aux socket. The box was from Maplin and took a 'little' modifying for it to fit.
Tools are now in the topbox as it goes everywhere with me anyway.

jimswms said:How many have used the EVO for phone? My wife says I sound "metallic". really rough. Like a very bad cell phone. she sounds fine, as does everyone else I've spoken to, on my end. I just wonder how bad it sounds on the other end, and, if anyone has noticed the same?
Thanks for that Shaun Intaride are getting a Quest early next week to try and replicate the fault as they say I'm not the first to report the fault and the Evo should suppress the GPS internally without the need for a special lead, not bothered if I have to get a lead as long as it sorts the problem, I'll see what they say first. They did say the problem seemed Quest specific. I pointed them in the direction of your post as I explained how you'd sorted it.ShaunT279 said:Yes ned at the GPS end its mono and at the EVO end its stereo. Supplied by Intraride

. Both cut out the interference and everything worked spot on, music cut in and out great, Vox was good and the GPS was clear. The only difference was one (not sure which as they weren't labelled) cut the GPS volume by 50% ish. The other was spot on though. Speak to David at Intaride, I'm sure he knows which is which. Once again faultless customer service and they seem genuinely interested in ironing out these faults
