Intermittent Red Flashing Light on TFT

Just ridden into work and noticed a red flashing light on the lower left hand side of TFT. The bike is a 2017 GSA LC. Anyone got any ideas? Just had a look in the manual but nothing.

The only red light i recall see there was to do with the electronic steering lock

On my 1250GSA the red flashing light is the anti-theft alarm.

Normally it indicates the alarm has been set.

Now is there something in the grey matter that maybe the key is out of range?

Alarm system LED
- with anti theft alarm DWA
Alarm signal (-95)
- with Keyless Ride indicator light for the radio operated key
Switching on ignition (-65).

Now that you said that maybe that was what it was when i activated my steering lock, possibly my key was out of range, cant remember its an age thing dont ya know

I think the intermittent flash while you're riding is to inform you that it's set to auto arm.

Dealer told me that it was an indication that alarm had been triggered. Like if you say on or moved bike before switching alarm off.
