Had the bike R1200GS LC 2017 25000 miles for about a month. Has a BMW warranty.

Bike since I've had it can be on occasions slow to start.

Turn ignition on press the button and half a turn then stops then turns over again and starts. Immediately thought it will. E the battery so replaced what appeared to be the original battery with a nice new fresh Yusa.

Bike then starts quickly no issues however I got to work realised I hadn't set the clock when I disconnected the battery. So pressed the button to start and again sluggish 1 second of nothing followed by quick spin and then it starts???

I thought I had it solved but obviously not. I'm hesitant to get bike looked at via BMW as I need it most days. Anyone else had a sluggish starter motor on an LC???

If you book it in with BMW and explain its your only mode of transport they will offer a free loan bike.
if you don't ask you don't get ;)

when i took mine in i was given a brand new 40th anniversary model to ride around on, when i got home wife thought id traded mine in and was pulling her face, so i went with it and said "But, i got a great deal" :D
