Interphone2 to Zumo 550 probs!

Any ideas peeps. Set up the Zumo and headset but I can't get any sound from the directions or mp3. The unit is showing it is paired and you can hear the beeps when changing volume and switching on/off power and imputing from a remote dab radio via wire is clear as a bell but refuses to talk to me when I programme a route. Any clues guys?

Uhm - Zumo isn't muted by any chance?
Try removing all paired devices from the Zumo and start over.
Blank? Try calling the man at Motohaus...

I could hear the instructions clearly when I set up my interphone2 to my zumo 550.

As a side note, I could not then get a link to my partner's interphone2. For that trip I used the zumo and interphone2 earpieces alongside each other - a bit intrusive in a Schuberth and, I guess, most other helmets. These days I switch off the voice completely.

Check this:

Main page Settings (Tool) / Bluetooth / Audio

Select Navigation, MP3, Phone

It might have defaulted to Phone only.

Was going to suggest what Sparkletoes said as well.

You'll not get nice stereo sound out of the 550 as it's not an A2DP Bluetooth device, and it can be fickle and only support one headset at a time. You can buy a cheap bluetooth transmitter from ebay for about £15 that will give you stereo from the headphone socket on the 550.
