IOM TT Viewing suggestions

I hope you like getting up early, as most of the places mentioned will be full by 7am if not earlier, I’ve no suggestions as I want to be able to watch it myself. Sorry!

Braddan church, great cake, sandwiches and clean toilets

Do the practice sessions go on all day? I thought it was just the evenings but I may be wrong. If there are early sessions that works for me, as I'm up at 5am for work normally 👍

Just late pm evening Tues/Wed/Thurs of the first week, are you taking your own car or flying in. Speak next week with plans.
TT schedule

My wife and I are going to the Isle of Man next Friday for a week taking in some of the practice sessions. The first few days we're hoping to see a bit more of the island before it all kicks off.
We'll be based in Castletown in the south, and would like some advice as to where to go to see the riders up close at speed to get the full experience. I have a disability that limits the time I can stand and I can't walk far, so would need to be able to park as close as possible. Cheers
You can get all the way round the Isle of man apart from the section of kirk Michael and the pennyrig camp site just the otherside of kirk Michael; a good map of the Island is your friend for the little back roads.the best way of finding places is when the roads are open just ride along some of the small rds leading off the circuit to find where they actually go and start piecing it together; it's all part of a great 2 wk holliday for me and has been for years going back to 1978; enjoy; :beerjug:

Thanks for all the suggestions. OS map 95 incoming. We're driving over and hope to see the island Sat and Sun before it kicks off on Bank Holiday Monday, when the roads are closed pretty much all day.
