iPad: where did the time go?

Up until yesterday the time was displayed at the top of the screen, as well as the little radio symbol to show it was on the internet. Today both are missing, how do I get them back?

Did you update the OS? Pal of mine has problem on iphone - where the wifi capability has disappeared?

Could be similar?

Do a search on internet -seems to be a slightly common problem

Try a reset.

hold down the power button & home button simultaneously until the device turns off and the apple logo re-appears then release both buttons
