Iphone 5S GPS

Can anyone tell me if the iPhone 5S is a true GPS or does it use GPS assist only.

Almost certin it has a GPS chip in it. Its a long time ago now but i remember having TomTom on my 5s. JJH

Full GPS, use mine on my 1150, no problems.
