iPhone mount

Hi folks

I want to put my iPhone in a waterproof charging mount next to my Nav V.

Anyone done that? How?

What model of iPhone? 7's are Waterproof and I use a quadlock connector on mine mate with no other case. They are rock solid mounts to.

Mines a 6, and I have quadlock ... if you’ll excuse the expression, where do you put it?

Ive got mine on the left side of the bar clamps, you can see the blue locking tab in this picture.

I can fit my 7plus there in regular “portrait” mode and plug in the power and go lock to lock without a problem.

Lifeproof case and their cycle mount on the RH side of the sat nav (slid it across to the left)
Fits perfect and still gives access to the lock.
Far better placement than on the bars.

Could you provide a picture of your set up please.... i am interested but i didnt think there was enough room (turn to turn) on the bars.

Isn’t anywhere near the bars.
BMW fit the satnav in the centre of the mounting bar/support so just loosen the screws, slide it left and tighten.
Then fit the Lifeproof cycle mount - you’ll need to use a little extra spacer but the mount comes with it.

Just a thought, what phone do you have.. I have an iPhone 6 Plus so am wondering if it will be too big.

Sorry to hijack the thread. Thanks for the pic. Have been messing around with RAM and not happy. Ordered quadlock, case and rain cover and arrived today. Fitted in minutes.
